Getting ready to Re-open our doors!


WELL, I could not be more excited to say
We have missed you!
As you have probably heard the Alberta Government announced that indoor fitness will be included in Phase 2 of the re-opening plan, and we are busy working behind the scenes to get the studio up and ready to be open by MONDAY June 15th!
The health and happiness of our students and staff is our number one priority so with the help of the AB Relaunch Strategy we have made some changes around the studio, everything you need to know is below!
Reduced Class Sizes
Classes sizes have been reduced to maintain safe social distancing. We have markers throughout the studio to help with proper mat placement.
It has been recommended 3M (as opposed to 2M) between students for hot classes, so for the time being the majority of the classes will be unheated
Due to the smaller class sizes we are asking everyone to sign up online in advance for class. You can do so Through the website or I recommend downloading the MINDBODY App – it is really user friendly.
All memberships were put on hold when we closed so send me an email to reactive your pass. Also if you had a one month or 3 month pass that would have expired during the last couple months, send me an email so I can fix your account.
Email me at as soon as possible as you will need an active account to be able to pre register for classes!
Of course if you do not feel ready to return to the studio at this time I am happy to wait and reactive your account when the time is right.
I will post the schedule online tomorrow (to allow a little more time to reactive passes)
And we will be making some changes to increase times between classes! I will also be using this time to try out some new classes so keep your eye on MINDBODY for some fun new offerings!
The schedule will be available for the rest of June, and we will re-evaluate as we move into July so make sure you let me know if you have any feedback!
We really appreciate how amazing everyone has been and thank you in advance for Your patience and understanding during this re opening transition! We are working to stay fluid in an ever changing situation, but most importantly we are excited to see you!
Heightened Cleaning and Sanitizing Procedures
While we were closed, and with the help of my amazing parents we were able to do some renovations and updates to our space. Not only does it look beautiful but it is sparkling clean and We will be working harder than ever to clean and sanitize surfaces inside and out of our studio space! We have added Hand Sanitizer stations throughout the studio, and everyone will be asked to sanitize their hands before entering.
The studio will be open 15 minutes before class starts, and you will be greeted at the door to do a standard assessment, there will be no late entries permitted.
We ask if you are feeling unwell to PLEASE stay home and we will respectfully do the same!
Limited Amenities
Please arrive ready for class, to limit the time spent in the change rooms, Showers are closed for the time being and the bathroom will be available and regularly sanitized.
We will not be using/lending out props in classes but if needed you can always bring your own from home.

Nicola Fortin is a Registered Psychologist and has been working as a
therapist and yoga instructor or over 15 years. She has found the practice of Yoga Nidra to be the most effective for accessing parts of ourselves that can be getting in our way, to meet them with safety and kindness and allow to them to heal.
